The next chapterTHE REASON WE’RE HERE / 01
Culture is what we’re given.
Kulture is what we make.
Some of us grew up between cultures. Some are travelling, changing direction, finding a passion or building something of our own.
There isn’t always a neat answer to “Where are you from?” We’re making space for the longer answer. You don’t have to have it all figured out to take a seat.
The hosts, in their words.
I do believe the place that you were born is the place that you can say you are from, but the things you pick up from different places, that is what makes you.
I'm a founder today because of a conversation I had whilst traveling in Japan to a French guy.
I don't feel I have this British mentality, but at the same time, I respect this culture. And I literally want to know it better and then to apply it to my own culture.

TWO WAYS INTO THE HOUSE / 02
Stay a little. Go a little further.
A longer conversation.
A chance encounter.
Something that stays with you.
01 / LONGER CONVERSATIONS
The Room
A table, a welcome and time to go deeper. The Room is designed to travel, bringing the people and culture of each room into the conversation.
The room moves.
The welcome stays.
02 / SHORT ENCOUNTERS
On the Road
People we meet along the way. Short, curious conversations about identity, everyday life and what makes somewhere feel like home.
Different places.
Something in common.
THE STORY DOESN’T END HERE / 03
And then what happened?
After the conversation, life carries on. Our Newsletter will follow the people who have sat with us: what they’re making, where they’re heading and what comes next.
